Creating the Default Tag

Note:

The Default Tag is only available when using the Tenant-Wide version of the Webtrends Tag Manager.

Note:

When created, the Default Tag will automatically apply to all modern pages in the tenancy unless a Custom Tag is specifically assigned to a site.

  1. Click the Tag Configurations tab.

  2. Click Add Default Tag at the top.

  3. A Configuration panel appears.

Note:

The Default Tag name cannot be changed.

  1. Configure the default settings as desired (see Configuration Settings )

  2. Click Save Configuration at the bottom of the configuration panel.

  3. The WTDefaultConfig appears in the Tag Configurations list.

Creating a Custom Tag

Note:

Custom Tag configurations are supported in both Tenant-Wide and Single-Site versions of the Webtrends Tag Manager.

  1. Click the Tag Configurations tab.

  2. Click Add Tag at the top.

  3. A configuration panel appears.

Note:

A Custom Tag cannot be named WTDefaultConfig.

  1. Configure the settings as desired (see Configuration Settings )

  2. Click Save Configuration at the bottom of the panel.

  3. The new configuration appears in the list.

Note:

It is also possible to create a new custom tag configuration during the Tag Sites process using the Create New Tag button.

Tags created this way will be applied to the selected sites immediately, and appear in the Tag Configurations list.
