# Webtrends WSP Feature Dependencies

## Configuration

WSP Features implement the tracking JavaScript code directly into the pages of the SharePoint sites. As a result, configuration of the JavaScript must be performed **prior** to implementation of the Feature. Please work with [Technical Support](http://webtrends.com/support) or speak with your **Account Manager** in order to obtain a preconfigured WSP file from Webtrends.

          Note:

It is possible to edit the configuration on the server **after** implementation, however redeployment of the Feature will cause any customizations to be **overwritten** by the settings in the *original* package.

## Permissions

Installation of the *WSP Feature* requires a **local administrator** account for the server.

Enabling the *WSP Feature* will require permissions appropriate for the selected scope.

1. *Farm* - Access to **Centeral Administration**.
2. *Web Application* - Access to **Centeral Administration**.
3. *Site Collection* - Site Collection Administrator.
4. *Site* - Site Administrator.

## Valid DCSID

In order to enable the add-in, a valid **DCSID** or **Data Collection Server Identifier** must be provided. A new DCSID can be obtained when making a new **space** within the [Webtrends Analytics 10](https://analytics.webtrends.com) interface, or a new **data source** within the [Webtrends Analytics 9](https://ondemand.webtrends.com) interface. Existing DCSIDs can be obtained by reviewing the Space Details (A10) or within the Data Sources (A9) page.
