    App Catalog

    Use of the Webtrends SharePoint Online Modern View Extension app extension requires a properly configured app-catalog in the environment.

    Permissions

    Deployment of extensions to a site collection directly and enable it generaly require Site Administrator permissions. The add-in can also be deployed in bulk via Power Shell with unknown Permission requirements.

    Note:

    The managed paths deployment for app extensions appears to be unsupported by Microsoft.

    Webtrends SharePoint Tag Installer

    The app extension's references the same configuration lists as the Webtrends SharePoint Tag Installer on the same site collection. As such, the Webtrends SharePoint Tag Installer must be also installed and enabled for tracking with a valid DCSID.

    Note:

    The Tag Installer cannot be installed via Managed Paths when also using the App Extension. The extension references the local site collection lists of the Tag Installer, and when deploying the Tag Installer via the Managed Paths, the local lists do not exist.
