# Segment Parameter

#### WT.seg_X

`WT.seg_X=Segment` Identifies a segment of interest. X can be 1, 2, 3, or 4. For example, `WT.seg_1=Segment1`. This parameter identifies values associated with this segment, and you can store these values in Visitor History. The Visitor History function recognizes these values and stores them in the Visitor History database. For more information, see “Visitor Segmentation Parameters.”
