The new SharePoint modern view utilizes the SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and does by default does not allow the user of the user custom actions utilized by the Webtrends SharePoint Tag Installer. Therefore, tracking of modern pages requires the use of an additional application extension on the site to facilitate the tracking anlaytics. This is provided via the Webtrends SharePoint 2019 Modern View Extension.
Note:
This app extension is intended to be installed in parallel with the app/add-in, and does not provide tracking of modern sites on its own.
